“I photograph situations that feel uncanny or even mysterious. I’m drawn to the idiosyncratic elements of my environment, often an unusual object, or a strange structural landscape populated by a lone person.  I’m interested in how necessary, yet insignificant we are against the economic structures of society. SIGNS OF LIFE is my preoccupation with finding a unifying beauty inside the chaos and conflict of life in an increasingly artificial world.”
